One Week ...

Snoopy has already been with us for one whole week. What a wonderful addition to our family he is! In just one week, Snoopy does not miss his biological family at all. He can sleep in his crate for 8 hours without crying. He has also learned to eat on time, and he is almost completely trained to eliminate where indicated. We are using now wee-wee pads for pee inside, and he uses them more than 90% of the times. And he poo always outside. In terms of walking with a leash, he follows you 95% of the times, but sometimes stops and pulls because he wants to go home, and does not like the leash very much. Finally, he is now aware of his name. You call him by his name, and he responds! I think these are all great improvements for a puppy who is 9 weeks old, and who has only lived with us for a week. More importantly, he is such an adorable dog that gives us so much love and joy, and we love him in return.
This is the picture of Snoopy (second from left) we saw on the website where he was being sold.

Everybody Loves Snoopy!

Everybody Loves Snoopy: neighbors, children in the street, people in the park. We of course love Snoopy very much, and he loves us in return. One thing he does not seem to like: taking walks. Whenever we take him out in the street, he is bothered by the leash, and all he wants to do is going back home. He has learned the two different ways back home. He can recognize the front door by just walking by. And he is able to recognize the alley to our way back home. Very smart! But he does not enjoy walks, and he does not have any interest in eliminating in the street. Lucky us we got those wee-wee pads! Now he is almost completely trained in using them.

Above and Beyond!

Snoopy does not stop to surprise us. After being adopted just 3 days ago, he is almost completely housebroken. He has only poopoo once inside, and he rarely pees in our apartment.
The first night was difficult, and he would cry desperately until we decided to bring him in his crate to our bedroom. Then he slept very well. The second night he cried just a little bit about 2 am. The third night he slept through with no complaints!
During the day, he spends a lot of time sleeping. When he wakes up, he likes to play and chew his toys. He is just adorable! And we could not be happier!
Here is another picture of Snoopy, just sleeping on one of his pillows.

Snoopy, Welcome Home !

We adopted a puppy yesterday. It is a Shichon, and we named him SNOOPY. He is adorable, very well behaved, and eager to please. Here is a picture I just took of him.
